Vastned Retail Belgium invests exclusively in Belgian commercial real estate, more specifically in core city assets (prime retail properties located on the best shopping streets of the major cities of Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent and Bruges) and mixed retail locations (inner-city shops outside the premium cities, high-quality retail parks and retail warehouses).
At present the portfolio is composed of 149 lettable units, spread over 61 different locations.
As at 30 June 2018, 59% of the real estate portfolio consists of core city assets, and 41% of mixed retail locations.
As at 30 June 2019, the fair value of the investment properties amounts to € 379 million.
The occupancy rate reaches 98% as at 30 June 2018.
Vastned Retail Belgium has been registered as a public regulated real estate company (REIT). The shares of the company are quoted on the regulated market of Euronext Brussels.
